Volcano Shoreline & Green Lava Tubes Tour
Come and experience the last lava flows on Oahu!
Our guides will take you through the lava tubes located on the eastern shoreline of Oahu. When you emerge on the other end of the tunnel, you'll see where the lava entered the ocean and created the newest land on the island.
There are many photo opportunities when you go inside Leahi Crater and as you stop at Koko Crater, Diamond Head Crater, Sandy Beach, and Makapuu point. Learn about the unique volcanic history of Oahu island, one of the few places in the world where ‘Tuff Cone’ Volcanic Craters have built new land on the shoreline of ‘Shield’ Volcanos!
There is some extreme scenery here where few visitors venture! Other lava tubes include the Halona Blow Hole where sea water can shoot 100 feet in the air. Because of the high level of the mineral Olivine, the lava takes on a spectacular green shade rarely seen!
Bring your camera for the pictures of a lifetime.
2014 News.... January through April is whale season. Whales can be seen along the coastline on the tour.
