Secret Beach Snorkeling
Located on the eastern coast of Oahu, just 20 minutes from Waikiki is the Ka Iwi shoreline. Home to numerous lava flow coves, the shoreline is a natural catchment area for sand that is carried in by ocean currents, creating beautiful secluded beaches. Once you arrive, a 20-minute walk along a breathtakingly pristine shoreline brings you to this oasis of a black, green, and white sand beach that lies in the middle of an ancient lava flow. Ancient Hawaiian tide pools, shallow waters, and the fish and crabs that inhabit them make this cove a delight for snorkelers.
